The Backman Trio were active from 2009 - 2015, performing widely for  concert societies and festivals across England. With generous financial  support from the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland they made  several tours to Finland, performing at the Camerata Hall in Helsinki  Music Centre and recording the Erik Bergman Trio Op 2 for YLE Radio 1.  With further support from the Swedish Cultural Foundation the Trio’s  debut CD “Fantasia” was released in summer 2014 and includes the world  premier recording of the Bergman Trio.
